Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SolFit ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SolFit's developer.

2. Description of Service

SolFit is a fitness tracking application that uses AI pose detection to count squat repetitions, track workout progress, and reward users with badges and points, with badge claims recorded on the Solana blockchain. The App is designed for use on Solana Seeker (Android) devices and is operated by an independent developer based in the Republic of Korea.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Using the App in a safe physical environment with adequate space
Ensuring you are physically fit to perform squat exercises
Consulting a healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program
Securing your own Solana wallet and private keys
All transactions made from your connected wallet
Complying with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction

4. Health & Fitness Disclaimer

⚠️ Important: SolFit is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The pose detection and rep counting features are for informational and motivational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare or fitness professional before starting a new exercise routine.

SolFit and its developer are not liable for any injury, health issue, or physical harm arising from use of the App. You acknowledge that physical exercise carries inherent risks and that you assume full responsibility for your physical safety while using SolFit.

5. Blockchain & Badge Terms

Badges are earned in the App for free. Claiming a badge is optional: it adds the badge's points to your total and costs a claim fee of 0.001 SOL paid to SolFit, plus the Solana network fee. The claim transaction records a memo naming the badge on the Solana blockchain. A claim does not create a token. The same 0.001 SOL fee applies to claiming the reward of a quest started in an earlier version of the App. By claiming, you acknowledge:

Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed
Badges and points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or tokens
You are solely responsible for any transaction fees (gas fees) incurred
SolFit does not control the Solana network and is not liable for network outages, congestion, or failed transactions
Your public wallet address will be recorded on the public blockchain
Cryptocurrency and digital asset regulations may vary by jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with applicable laws in your region

6. Locked In Challenges

Locked In is an optional challenge. By joining, you agree to the following:

Deposit: You deposit 100 SKR into the Locked In program on Solana. The same 100 SKR is returned in full whether or not you finish. It stays locked until the challenge ends, and it cannot be withdrawn early.
Return: After the challenge ends, you can withdraw your deposit in the App. Any deposit not withdrawn within 5 days after the end is returned automatically. The program can only return a deposit to the wallet that made it.
Fee: Joining costs a Fee of 0.001 SOL, paid in the same transaction as the deposit. The Fee is not refundable.
Challenge: You can join before a challenge starts or on its first day. Do 30 squats every day for 3 or 7 days. Each day starts at 15:00 UTC. Only workouts recorded while you are signed in with your wallet count.
Reward: If you finish every day, you can pick one Square. Picking is free apart from the Solana network fee, and every pick earns at least a Common Square. Rewards are paid in ORE from the program's reward vault. The tier comes from the result of an ORE mining round, and the odds are shown in the App before you join. Reward amounts are fixed when each challenge is created. Each challenge limits its Rare and Legendary Squares. A pick beyond a limit receives the next tier down. If your wallet has no ORE token account yet, your first Reward claim creates one, which takes a small amount of SOL as the account's rent deposit. You get it back if you close that account.
Deadline: Pick a Square and claim your Reward within 5 days after the challenge ends. After that, an unclaimed Reward expires.
Rewards are funded from SolFit's marketing budget, separately from Fees. The value of SKR and ORE can change, and SolFit does not control their prices.

Like any software, the Locked In program may contain errors.

7. Intellectual Property

Open Source Code: SolFit's source code is released under the MIT License. See the LICENSE file for details.

Proprietary Assets: Badge artwork, app design, brand identity, and other creative assets remain the exclusive property of SolFit's developer. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of these assets without express written permission.

Third-Party Components: SolFit uses MediaPipe (Apache 2.0 License) and other open-source libraries. All third-party licenses are respected and maintained.

8. Limitation of Liability

SolFit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

Data loss or corruption
Physical injury or health issues
Financial loss related to blockchain transactions
Service interruptions or technical failures
Third-party service failures (Solana network, Firebase, etc.)

9. Privacy

Your use of SolFit is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. The Privacy Policy describes your rights under GDPR, CCPA, PIPA, and other applicable data protection laws.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms of Service or your use of SolFit shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

For users located in the European Union or other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protection laws, this clause does not affect your statutory rights to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email when possible. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms of Service.

12. Termination

You may stop using SolFit at any time. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for users who violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, but provisions related to intellectual property, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
